Crystal Huang

Crystal Huang was born in Fremont California. At the age of 3, she started dancing at Yoko’s Dance and Performing Arts Academy. Due to family reason, she moved to Las Vegas at age of 9, and continued dance training at The Rock Center for Dance. In 2021, Crystal had the honor to perform as “Clara” at the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in NYC for winter months. This past year, she traveled between Las Vegas and Northern California for contemporary training at The Rock and Vaganova ballet technique at Bayer Ballet Academy. Thanks to the Prix de Lausanne prizes and scholarship from the Oak Foundation and Minerva Kunststiftung, Crystal is able to attend the 2024 Netherlands Dance Theatre Summer Intensive, and continue her dance journey at ABT / JKO School in NYC starting Fall 2024. 

Since early age, Crystal has won numerous competitions and titles, including recent 2024 South Africa IBC Grand Prix award, 2024 Prix de Lausanne Prize Winner and Contemporary Award, 2024 YAGP NYC Int’l Finals Senior Silver Medal, 2022 and 2023 YAGP Finals Junior Bronze Medal, 2019, 2021 and 2023 The Dance Award 3-time Best Dancer, 2023 NYCDA National Outstanding Dancer, 2019 and 2021 Radix National Mini and Junior Core Performer, and many more. 

As winner of The Dance Award, NYCDA, Radix National, Crystal has been touring the past many years assisting in various dance styles and performing at Nuvo, Jump, 24Seven, Radix, NYCDA, and The Dance Awards conventions. She was among the 20 female dancers chosen to attend 2023 Juilliard Summer Intensive, one of the 17 U.S. dancers selected to attend the 2024 Prix de Lausanne International competition, and awarded as the 2024 Young Art Winner of Distinction for Ballet to perform at the 2024 Young Arts Week in Miami. Other performances include 2021 and 2022 YAGP Nervi Ballet Festival, 2022 YAGP San Francisco Gala, 2021, 2022, and 2023 YAGP Tampa Finals Gala at Straz Center, 2023 YAGP 25th Anniversary fundraising Gala at Lincoln Center, 2023 Petipa Awards Gala in San Francisco, 2024 YAGP Tampa Regional Gala, 2024 Hivernales De La Danse Galas in Liège, 2024 YAGP NYC Finals Galas in Lincoln Center, 2024 OEAC Houston Gala, 2024 South Africa IBC Gala, 2024 AEDC Beijing Finals Gala, and 2024 YAGP Nervi Ballet Festival Galas and Sicily Gala.
